Summer Maintenance (On or around the first day of July)

Hotter months are here, and it's time to make sure you and your home stay refreshed and cool.

Indoor

  • Service HVAC system
  • Have professional chimney sweep inspect and clean fireplace flue/chimney
  • Check caulk around fireplace facing and repair as needed
  • Service septic system
  • Clean kitchen appliances inside and out

Outdoor

  • Verify main water cutoff valve is accessible and functioning properly
  • Apply water-seal treatment to all outdoor exposed wood (properly power-washing wood first may be necessary)
  • Inspect roof for loose or missing shingles or flashing
  • Clear and clean weep holes in brick siding
  • Prune trees and shrubs
